My great aunts were in vaudeville and played in Sandusky at the State Theatre. I believe it was the Schine’s State Theatre. This was in April, 1929.

My great aunts played at Mays Piqua Theatre in March, 1929. They were vaudevillians. I don’t know if this is the same theatre.

Just attended a showing of “It Happened One Night” at the Artcraft. Still undergoing renovation. I was glad that it is still alive and kicking.

I had two great aunts who were in vaudeville and played the Plaza in November of 1926. It was part of the Keith circuit of vaudeville.

My great aunts were in vaudeville and played the Lyric during the week of Christmas, 1921. How sad that it has been long gone…

I had two great aunts who were in vaudeville and played the Grand Opera House in January of 1918. I am glad to see that it is still standing and not demolished,as so many other theaters have been. One day I hope to visit this gem.

Back in the early 1970s, I went to the Rivoli for the first time. They were showing the 1927 silent film “Wings.” It was awesome because it had a live organ accompaniment. I am sad to see the state that it is now in; on the plus side, at least it is not demolished.
