Picture taken 11th June 1949 combining advertising with McIlroys store, 87 High Street Maidenhead. This was for the film ‘June Bride’ starring Bette Davis. Here we see the Assistant Manager & Cashier sitting in carriage at the front of the Rialto with cinema Manager Robert Clark before driving off through Maidenhead High Street, fortunately no rain in sight.
