Photograph taken 4th July 1938 which displays the impressive entrance foyer 85 years ago today. A bridge forms the entrance to the circle from the pair of staircases rising either side, whilst entrance to the stalls are three steps down under bridge above is displayed an early ABC logo. Lighting was supplied by F.H. Pride with the central pendant light fitting designed by Pride’s head designer, Charles Theobalds gives a special feature completing this area.
