Tri-States operated in Matamoras at the base of the Poconos and drew patrons from nearby Port Jervis, New York, and Sussex County, New Jersey. Edge-of-town drive-ins like Tri-States were susceptible to suburban redevelopment when land values increased relative to box office receipts. The drive-in closed in 2003, and was replaced with a supermarket.”</p>
