“TRI-STATES DRIVE-IN back in 1999 when Tarzan, and Eyes Wide Shut were playing. Tri-States operated in Matamoras at the base of the Poconos and drew patrons from nearby Port Jervis, New York, and Sussex County, New Jersey. Edge-of-town drive-ins like Tri-States were susceptible to suburban redevelopment when land values increased relative to box office receipts. The drive-in closed in 2003, and was replaced with a supermarket.”

 •
Sticker sold at Scranton Art Haus for $5. The sticker bares the theater’s name and logo, as well as its stunning new marquee. These stickers, along with tee shirts, were sold after the theater marquee came under scrutiny for supposedly violating city zoning. Proceeds go to veterans affairs.
