Excellent picture I think taken in the 30’s with the street car tracks. They were taken up in 1942.
Very old theater. Played 2nd run movies in Austin after the Paramount and State. Owner in the 30s, 40s,50s was Interstate Theaters. In the 1940s the city manager for Interstate was Louis Novy.
In the 1940s the Queen ran double features with a serial on Sat. Owned by Interstate Circuit.
Built in the late 1930s by Interstate Theaters Films played the 3rd runin Austin.
