  • <p>Town Hall and Gardens 48 Old Perth Road, Bassendean, WA</p> <p>Photo - It is believed that this is a photo of the Bassendean Picture Gardens screen (long closed & in disrepair) located alongside the Town Hall.</p> <p>Description - By 1960 the Town Hall and Picture Gardens were no longer operating as cinemas. Audiences were staying home and watching television in droves. The Picture Garden would become over grown and in disrepair.
