I uploaded two photos of the theater with the signage installed in the July/August 2012 renovations by R/C Theaters.
The building was originally a Shop-Rite supermarket, with plans to turn it into a movie theater going as far back as 1997. The building was converted into a movie theater by Destinta in 1999, who ran it until June 2012.
R/C Theaters assumed operations in July 2012. The complex received a facelift, including a new paint scheme for the outside, lobby and the hallways, new carpeting, and upgrading the 35mm projectors to digital projectors. Some of the auditoriums in the complex even received an HPS-4000 sound system. By April 2013, the theater was independently operated.
In 2016, a mural on the rear side of the building (facing CT Route 9) was painted by artist Patrick Gianino featuring various locals. In 2017, the seats were upgraded to larger recliner style seats. Oddly enough, only the seats on the floor of the auditorium would recline, the seats in the risers did not recline.
The theater closed abruptly on January 5th, 2026. The theater was still advertising featured attractions on their social media pages days before closure.
