  • <p>This proscenium scene is called “The Birth of Light” shown here at opening in 1928. Julius Moessel painted the arched mural above the proscenium which had a dazzling light show before each film. Greek God Helios almost appears in motion as he’s guided by four winged horses, fairies with torches, and a variety of birds.</p>
            
              <p>But I’m sure the supermarket that replaced the Paraidse had its architectural charm as well!</p>
  • <p>The $5,000,000 Paradise interior was as breathtaking as its price with moving clouds on the ceiling within the “king’s garden” French Renaissance motif by John Eberson.</p>
  • <p>They have no more marquee that listed what was playing inside with plastic letters. Have no listings in the local free papers in Santa Cruz, no one knows what is playing in side. Hope hey don’t do the same thing that Regal did.</p>

              <p>Theatre Royal is an historic performing arts venue in central Hobart, Tasmania. It is the oldest continually operating theatre in Australia; Noël Coward once called it “a dream of a theatre” and Laurence Olivier launched a national appeal for its reconstruction in the 1940s.</p>
