Alas when Disney picked a 3D system they picked a system that only worked with Cristie made projectors. Camelot uses a Barco projector which is a fine machine. Other companies make a 3D interface that allows Barco to show 3D movies. However the industry couldn’t come up with a standard that everbody agrees with so private companies do it. In time more movies will come in Digital 3D format but not for a time.
Wally, haven’t heard from you in a while. I hope business is doing well. I wish you guys would do some advertising. You are the only Digital projector in SC and NC, tell people about it. Its a great place to go.
I have a request, can you mark the movie playing in the main room on your web sight. For that matter can you mark what is showing in digital. I intend to only go to Camelot to see movies and want to make it profitable for you to show digital films.
Just saw Episode III and this movie house is AWSOME. The sound was great the picture was incredible. My wife and I had a great time. We look forward seeing other movies here in the near future.
Wally Fayssoux and his partner did an excellent job of returning this to be a great place to see a movie.
It was nice talking to you today on the phone. I saw but did not get to talk to you at the theater. I can say they have cleaned the place up a lot. It looks great from what I could see of the inside. I have my tickets and can’t wait for the movie or the theater itself. Good luck with the remainder of the prep. I look forward to congradulating you on opening day.
This is great, Wally, which online ticket vendor are you going to use? I have been waiting for a theater to put in this type of system and finally someone has and in a great old place. I went to see Episode I there at the premier midnight showing years ago. The main screen is huge in comparison to most mulitplexes of today and sound system was great. All new equipment will only make it better. Is there a number for the theater, I would like to buy tickets as soon as I can.
