Screen #2 was converted to ‘LaserUltra’ (with laser projection and Dolby Atmos sound) in early 2021. In the summer of 2022, ‘Premiere Seats’ were added to multi screens, replacing one row of seats with deluxe heated recliners and side tables.
This photo is not of SilverCity Riverport. Riverport has more steps, a bigger landing in front of the doors and the marquee only had space for 12 theatres (as was the original screen count).
Recliner seating was installed in the spring of 2017 (less than five years after the theatre opened). Current seat count is now approximately 749 (the biggest, #10, now seats 120 and the smallest, #7, is just 34).
Renovated in late 2016/ early 2017 which saw lobby upgrades, a new concession stand and recliner seating installed in all 12 auditoriums (bringing the seat count down to an estimated 1384 seats). In addition, Screen #4 saw an upgrade in July 2020 where it was branded as LaserUltra with the installation of laser projection and Dolby Atmos sound.
ScreenX has been installed on #12. First title was The Wild Robot, opening on Sept 27, 2024.

The building has finally been demolished (March 2021) with plans to build a new building with retail in its place.
