Is there any reference for this venue being called Bioscope on opening? My ref was http://londonfilm.bbk.ac.uk/view/venue/?id=252 which says their source was the Bioscope Annual. Could there be any mix-up there?
It seems to have been owned by Adelphi pictures (see link on same site) which apparently also ran two more venues called Grand Picture.
Just keen to learn more so if you have any more refs woudl be keen to hear about them.
The London Project has this as being owned on opening by Adelphi Picture Theatres Ltd along with a sister venue on Turnpike Lane Harringay/Hornsey (http://londonfilm.bbk.ac.uk/view/venue/?id=252)
