Odeon Chatham has a single projection-box, running the full length of the building. Built to accommodate digital projection equipment, the original owners at Dickens World installed nine 35mm projectors instead. In October 2010, the cinema received its first digital projector in screen 5, with the first digital 3D film shown being Despicable Me. The following year, a second digital projector was installed in screen 4. When Odeon bought the site from Dickens World in May 2013, the projection box was fully converted to digital projection equipment. The last full-time Projection Manager in the whole of Odeon left in September of that year.
