  • <p>This photograph was taken in July 1958 and shows the cinema several years after closure. The houses either side then were in fine condition at the time of this picture, gradually declining over the years. I see these too have been restored keeping the street and Electric Palace within its original time frame. I wonder if the house on the right retained its very tall chimney pots?</p> <p>Ron Knee</p>
