Dallasmovietheaters, thank you so much for the photos you uploaded! This has been my holy grail theater! Where did you find them? I guess the auditorium was pre split.
The 1993 movie Poetic Justice filmed a scene here complete with a fake movie playing. Wish I was around to see it in person but that’s a nice way to preserve it.
Thank you, Jodar. What have they added to the concession menu? I’ll always miss the French Fries we had during the K|B/Apex days (Crown got rid of the frier in ‘97.
I’d never been to this theater but I found an article about its opening in the Baltimore Sun so capped the article and pictures of exterior and interior in photos.
I suppose it was a triangle with two sides that converged at the food court. Not sure the shape now that they’ve expanded. But they don’t call it Pyramid Mall anymore so I guess they updated the name with the new shape. :)
What a wonderful description of the theater. Thank you.
Heartbreaking
Oh no!
Whoa closing the theater in a college town? They have a 5 screen indie but that won’t service IC, Cornell and locals.
Tragic news. Wonder how the Gold Coast Mall will accommodate summer crowds on rainy days, or maybe business just dipped all around the city. :(
Reopened June 5 with free Back to the Future screenings.
Opening weekend was May 24, 1991

Rewatching Jackie Brown and realized Robert Forrester filmed a scene here. Definitely looked very UA in ‘97!
Looks like they’ve redone the lobby and gone full recliner. http://horizoncinemas.com/location/3263/Marley-Station-Showtimes

That’s amazing! Wonder if one could ask to see it as a citizen.

Photos of recliner converted theaters added.
Pics of recliner conversion of theaters 1-4 added. They’re beautiful but drop capacity to 1/3.
Baltimore Sun article on the July 17 opening, with a very grainy picture of the lobby, uploaded to photos.
Added pics from a visit today.
The Shops at Ithaca Mall

Added interior pics of November 4 visit including theater 8.
Added daytime exteriors of the facade and more of razed interior.
Added pics of my Nov 3-5 visit including many interiors.
Right. I guess the land defines the shape of the building. Were you in Annapolis when this theater existed?
Added some pics of theater’s 4 and 2 from my visit to see Coco tonight, and the front hallway.
