THE COLISEUM GARDENS,SUBIACO:
Big attendances and well-satisfied patrons continue to be the general rule at this popular open-air theatre. The lawns, gardens and ferneries are looking their very best, and provide ideal environment for the enjoyment of the excellently selected picture programmes screened.
À big measure of praise is due to Mr. B. J. Jacoby and his capable orchestra for the. harmonious treat provided in the incidental music, which in these days of the pianola and other “canned” music, is doubly acceptable. By no means the least attractive feature of the Coliseum programme is the Anxetophone concert given each night from – 7.30 to 8.00 O'clock, when vocal and instrumental items by the world’s greatest musical artists are reproduced on an instrument of glorious tonal qualities. The Coliseum is open every night, and there is a complete change of programme on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday – Contributed by Greg Lynch –
