Quote: An extraordinary, expressionistic, streamlined theatre that was once located in Sydney Road Brunswick. The 2,000 seater opened in 1937. Lyle Fowler’s photo shows a sweeping staircase equipped with a chrome hand rail, which leads to the lounge, dress-circle area.
