Favorite movies: British, American and Australian movies, with general special favourites, basically up to and including the Sixties. Too many favourites to list, apart from others from later periods up to present time. Lifelong interest in Biographies and Autobiographies and Studio history, collecting books and front-of-house memorablia. Also collector of published history, photos and data, on Cinema and Theatre building around the world, particularly the United Kingdom, America and Australia. Presently the owner of a former Cinema building in the Central Western Area of New South Wales with ongoing "restoration work" periodically, to allow a large part of the area to be used for a modified hobby Cinema - a lifelong dream since attending the CASTLE HILL Picture Theatre in the outer north/western area of SYDNEY from 1950 as a Saturday afternoon "fanatic" when I wondered what happened behind the screen after the curtains closed.
