The theater was located in the left side of the building. A small shop sat in the center and the right side was Prestigiacomo’s Restaurant. Great food.
Our entire school was given free passes for the Dawn’s grand opening. I think “Jack the Giant Killer played.
I saw “The Horse Soldiers” there it around 1959. The building had a facade covered with 100’s of mirrored pieces. It was pretty run down when I was there. I remember seeing it standing until the mid-70’s.

My Mom decided it was a good idea to take me there to see “The Fly”. It was actually a terrible idea. I was scared to death.
