Amazing full page ad! I was there that night with my mother (9 years od and watching this racy Bond film) Little did I know then, I would go on to manage the theatre(s) for great owners for nearly 30 years. Good times.

Theatre has been reduced to 8 auditoriums, but a serious near gut renovation on every level has brought the old Tilton Theatre back to life!

Hey Jill! How is your Dad? I miss the old Theatre days sometimes!

For years, it had ‘Escape from the Planet of the Apes’ left on the marquee…

Great photo! As late as 2001 or so it was a photo studio, with original ceiling and offices above the box office area.

Hey, Bill Murray (me) moved to New York City five years ago and is on the other side of the camera now…I loved the Tilton, but, the time had come. 45 years was a good run for the original owners and many of them mine also…r.i.p.

I think I may still have a 35mm trailer for ‘The Money’ in storage… small world.

A beautiful place when Ray Posel built and ran it. Managed there for about a year. Very popular with the upscale crowd…

I used to date the niece of the manager from the Tilton Theatre in Northfield, NJ and Charles (co-owned the Tilton) would let us sit in the closed balcony during the weeknights. Sweet.
