I used to date the niece of the manager from the Tilton Theatre in Northfield, NJ and Charles (co-owned the Tilton) would let us sit in the closed balcony during the weeknights. Sweet.
Theatre has been reduced to 8 auditoriums, but a serious near gut renovation on every level has brought the old Tilton Theatre back to life!

Great photo! As late as 2001 or so it was a photo studio, with original ceiling and offices above the box office area.

A beautiful place when Ray Posel built and ran it. Managed there for about a year. Very popular with the upscale crowd…
