the seats might be original when they twinned the ardmore in the 70s they used the seats from the 1965 renovations. now seeing this theatre was built in 1949 they probably looked like ardmore pilgrim gardens as well as the replaced brookline seats from 1960s and the wynnewood seats.
tineseltoes, if the fox theatre renamed as loews capitol in 1936 as of 2011 an that was 75 years ago that means my ticket was between 1927-1936 ? because it says fox lol
saw 2 movies there BATTLESTAR GALLACTICA THE MOVIE IN 1978 it was a pilot for there new series. and in 1983 clash of the titans. WHEN qvc went out and relocated, i purchased all 12 or so seats i focused on them from first time i saw them.
the KIMBALL PIPE ORGAN owned by owners of theSTATE THEATRE sold it to JIM BRENEMAN in 1967, he sam larosa instaulled this piece to the brookline theatre in havertown, when in 1973 was heavenly damaged by a flood was later stored in a garage until being installed at the colonial in 1975 after jim’s death sam larosa purchsed it and later sold it to the CHICAGO HISTORICAL SOCIETY where it remains.
i read in the colonial theatre history the state kimball organ was installed by jim breneman at the brookline theatre in 1967 but was heavly damaged by the flood of 1973. the organ went to the colonial theatre then was purchased by sam larosa a organ restorer then gave this organ to the chicago historical society. ill post a copy of this article
it seems that my friend brians father jim mc geoch was co owner of the media theatre in the 80s now they were told they could keep theatre open til new tennants could be found i guess thats how i got the key lol

the waverly theatre was built and completed in october 1927 originally was to be called the drexel stanley corporation of america decided waverly.
on youtube theres a video and it shows the waverly theatre from 1976 pretty cool .

thealan there is litterly no info on this theatre. it was around in the 1940s up until 1950s this pic is when it closed
