I stopped by on Friday since the wall is open to take a few photos of the interior from out on the street. Only a part of the house left structure and a bit of the procenium remain. I will try to post them. Someone angrily asked me to leave.
Patiomike, what is you connection with the Patio? Thanks for your suggestion about the number on the office. Actually, I stopped by the place tonight before I saw your post. As mentioned above, I’m sad to say it looks like the marquee has been hit by a couple trucks. Most of the neon is gone. At some point all the bulbs were removed from the underside of the marquee as well, not sure why.
I am in real estate. My interest is related to some clients who are interested in acquiring some theatres to create a chain of classic cinemas.
The Coronet did become the home of Northlight for a few years.

There is now a gaping hole at the Nortown procenium. I’m very concerned for the Patio and the Ramova. Any word on movement with these places?

The lights, constantly on, are slowly dying. So sad.
I was in it the other day. It is a disaster. The seats are gone. What remains is a crumbling shell. The outside is salvagable.
Is the Patio currently for sale/rent?
What ever happened to the plans with Griffin Theatre Company and the other proposal to turn it into an arts center/live-film theatre?
I saw Arsenic and Old Lace in the ‘80’s. The seats, well everything, was tiny.
You can see the gargoyles that held up the marquee on the Lincoln Ave side.
