According to our records, the theater was sold and reopened in 2023 as the Embassy Theater Waltham (aka Embassy Cinema) and converted into a two-screen operation (previously 6 screens) that also hosts live performances, including a gymnastics program, under the umbrella of the Embassy Performing Arts Center. Some movies were shown in the summer of 2023, but officially opened in October 2023. A grand opening was held Feb 9, 2024.
