Have you looked into the City operated parking structure at 1036 Broxton Ave. between Weyburn Ave & Kinross? When we last parked there on a Saturday morning (fall 2009), the first 2 hours were free—(no validation required)—I don’t recall how much after the first two hours. Entry after 6 PM, I read somewhere online, is a flat $3 charge to park there. The parking structure is in the middle of the block—that block is one-way going south—check the map or look at the Google maps street view. This parking structure is about a half block or less from the Bruin and the Village Theaters! If you can’t take the bus, and must drive this is the place to try to park.
