  • <p>Following the year-and-a-half run at the Palace Theatre downtown “The Sound of Music” finally opens at the drive-in for a one week run. The Dale Mabry was the only drive-in in Tampa to play the film. Ad from the Tampa Tribune dated November 21, 1968.</p>
