Odeon pulled out in 1962 and taken over by Canadian Theatres in 1965. It closed on May 6th, 1973 for rebuilding into the Town Cinemas 1 & 2, which reopened on August 3rd, 1973.

It reopened as the Princess Pam art theatre on January 15th, 1959, and closed or stopped placing ads in December 1959.
