This cinema opened with seven screens on October 7, 1994 with three more screens added in 1995.
It was expanded to 16 screens and renamed Mega-Plex Lacordaire on February 28th, 2003. Mostly English-language movies are shown. It was closed on February 5, 2025 due to Cinemas Guzzo declaring insolvency. It was announced in April 2025 that the building was set to be demolished.
