in Montreal there were 2 different “Cinéma de Paris”

this postcard refers to the old Cinema de Paris (which was owned by France-Film) at 694 St. Catherine W (now club supersexe)

Star Wars opened at Place Bonaventure twin cinemas
the larger cinema was showing “Star Wars” and the smaller cinema was showing a porno double bill, I wonder how many crossovers?

a gym is opening in jan. 2005 in the auditorium section of the building, it is called club mansfield and the website is at clubmansfield.ca. it will be quite a gym.

This theatre closed on July 3,2003 when Famous Players paid a penalty to get out of the lease, shortly after, this theatre has been demolished to make room for an Future Shop and The Brick big box stores

One thing that Mike Perju and Theatrefan did not notice that a 5-metre section of the sign had to be hualed away in June because it was about to fall over the main entry, it was reinstalled earlier this week.

as for the video projectors, there were replaced in time for “Sky Captain” but were not working… however the movie were presented in excellent conditions. score: movie 1 ads 0

oh yeah this theatre opened in late June 1999.

a Foot Locker store opened in the entryway of the Loew’s on June 7,2004, the main auditorium area with a seperate entrance on Mansfield is still “a vendre ou louer”
