Some confusion here with the Roxy/Woodbine connection. Woodbine is in south Nashville and the Roxys address is in East Nashville, maybe they just used that name Woodbine at the east Nashville location at some time. Any more info would be great.
I may be wrong but I believe this theatre was not where the Amsouth Building is but between Commerce Street and Church right up from the Ryman Auditorium on 5th Ave, I will check more.
Also there was an Elite Theatre on 5th Ave North, and on Church Street numbered 415 maybe that the 2nd, Princess later Crescent and Loews Crescent was located, I have heard that the 2nd Princess/Crescent was built in the shell of this Elite Theatre, anyone have any more info?
This theatre should have be located near or at the location of the 1st Princess Theatre its address being 511 Church Street and the Capital being at 531 Church, they were both in the same block if not the same location as address' change sometimes, I believe the 1st Princess replaced the Capital Theatre after the fire there, anymore info would be great.
Yes I was aware of these I have posted on all but the Bordeaux, and and Old Hickory I believe,I will check them out if I havent already, I need one of your books. You forgot the 1st and 2nds Princess and my Crescent. Thanks Mike.
The Loews Warwick was named after Marcus Loew friend David Warwick an actor, this may have been posted before.
Cool site cannot believe no one has posted on this.
Nice photo Jack, good to see the building is still there.
Very nice glad they saved it.
Too bad the photo link does not work anymore.

60 years and still going, thats great.
Yes thats right Ken mc.
Another Crescent Amusment Co. Theatre.
This theatre would have been located across the street from Sylvan Park.
Listed at this address now: Arts Company Nashville, Eastway Lock and Key, and Gibbell Hayes Partners.
Nice photo Don.
If the address is right this theatre would have been near the Howard School Building and the Childrens Museum.

This theatre was located by the Alalambra in the same block as the Ryman Auditorium if I am not mistaken.

I believe I sent a photo to Robin of this drive-in, but I could be wrong, I do know that it was located in North Nashville.

This theatre was located about 1 half block North behind the Tennessean Newspaper building.
