A couple of before and after photos on their website. It looks like a lot of the lobby décor is original, and the auditorium looks mostly new, but from the before photo, not much was left restoring anyway- the previous renovations were fairly bland. It looks nice now.

Current Google street and aerial views show a large building at this site – doesn’t really look like a theatre. At any rate, there are windows throughout so if it was, it looks like it was completely gutted.
The website has some great interior photos – it’s all a new urban industrial look – probably no old décor was left to save. It’s a good modern design though.

It looks like currently the theatre is mainly rented out for events. Their webpage (http://www.showplacebuffalo.com/) does have a photo of the façade which has been nicely restored (Much better than the old photos in the cinematreasures gallery)

The official webpage links to some nice interior photos – interesting to see that the original proscenium arch has been re-created; the original was destroyed in a fire in the 1950s and was replaced by simple curtained walls – nice to see the original back with the native American symbols.
Interesting from the aerial view: Long lobby and then you turn left to enter the auditorium – fairly wide auditorium. But then the stage house is backing up against the street – surprising to see valuable street frontage taken up with the stagehouse!
The current Google Street View, the front is still in great shape, can still look through clear glass on the doors – nothing’s boarded up. I wonder if it’s currently being used for anything. A very ornate façade which (although completely painted white) is still in very good shape.
Looks like the building is closed since the Opera company moved to the Kauffmann in 2011. Their website does not indicate if they still own the building or what its current status is.
From the Google Street View from 126th street (dated September 2014) the auditorium has been demolished and the new tower (about 8 floors) has been built. The street view on 125th street (from 2013) shows the lobby portion of the Victoria still standing. I hope they keep the interior architecture.

From the photos I have seen, the interior of this Orpheum has been stripped to the brick walls – a long and narrow auditorium.

Looks like the link I mentioned above was inaccurate. According to the Nor-Shor’s website, renovations are still underway.
According to the below article, the Nor-Shor reopened in 2013 after a $29,000,000 restoration.

According to their video on their website, the restoration is mostly finished now; I believe the bulk was finished by 2011.
