Opened August 19th, 1971 (date of grand opening ad) and added its 96-seat Out House (Listed separately on CT) theatre next door on July 26th, 1972. In 1977 the Out House became Cinema 5, which closed in 1981 leaving four screens. In 1983 it was renamed Buckingham Square 4 to avoid confusion with the Buckingham Village 6.
