The “American Pickers” TV show on the History Channel featured some lobby poster boxes from this theater. They were salvaged by a couple from Pennsylvania who were visiting Missoula at the time of the theater’s demolition.
This theater is probably closed. It does not appear on Regal’s website and Google Maps show a church at that address. An internet search fails to turn up this theater as well. Also, the phone has been disconnected.
This theatre was mentioned last night (6/10/13) on the “American Pickers” TV show. A black and white photo of theatre was shown as well as a number of movie posters that had been displayed at it.
The Paramount’s marquee was featured prominently in a “Cold Case Files” episode about a robbery and killing in a jewelry store down the street from the theatre.
I just added an exterior picture of the entrance to this theater. There is no Google view because it is in the rear of the strip mall and faces a parking lot.

I agree.
The theatre just reopened on July 4 with a screening of “Singing in the Rain.” Check it out on the website listed above.
This theater now has a cocktail lounge called “Take Five” and an expanded food menu.
It is now a supermarket.
Given the owners' comments, it seems that they just want out of the movie business. The digital conversion is just an excuse at this point.
Google street view of August 2012 shows the building still standing.(Barely)
t would appear that this theatre has been demolished.
It’s simply rude and distracting and shouldn’t be tolerated.
This theater stopped showing movies way before the 70’s. It was subsequently a drug store until abandonment and demolition.
The closing date of the 70’s given in the header is wrong. Bruce C’s picture has it right, 1951. I know, because I lived around there at the time.

I’ve just uploaded a picture of this theater to the Photos section.
I’ve uploaded a new picture to the Photos section. The sign on the exterior of the theater still says “Movies 10.”
I’ve just added some new pictures to the Photos section. My previous ones were lost when Webshots shut down.
I uploaded 2 pictures in Photos section. One shows the current park at the old theater site, the other of its demolition in 1968.
According to the website, all the auditoriums now have digital projection.
Main Street has been constructed, so I was able to upload a current picture in the Photos section.
