Is this theater being expanded? The Google Street View of April 2013 shows quite a bit of construction. There was discussion in 2011 before the Cherokee Planning Board to expand to 6 screens.
The “American Pickers” TV show on the History Channel featured some lobby poster boxes from this theater. They were salvaged by a couple from Pennsylvania who were visiting Missoula at the time of the theater’s demolition.
According to the Cineplex website, there are 7 screens at this theatre.
The new cocktail lounge replaced one auditorium, reducing the number of screens to 15.

Why is this an important topic?
This theater was located at 764 Bainbridge Street. It is now a video production studio for Nature’s Way Outdoors. Streetview has been updated.

Isn’t this the Center Theater? Same address, same street view.

I think it’s safe to say that this place has been demolished.
The marquee of this theater was shown on the TV show “America’s Got Talent.” A contestant from Pineville is one of the finalists.
