My wife “JOKES?” I’m better than nothing, so here’s some info that’s better than nothing. In other words you might not want to stake your life on it. Note the question marks after it. If you can come up with better info have at it,that’s the idea, to get you doing research, you won’t hurt my feelings. Remember I put down what I find, it’s better than nothing or no comment!
Open 1954-1980? I know under a drive-in list it is listed as open in 1967 in the town of Factoria.
800 car capacity?
1964-1980 operated by Sterling Theaters Co. of Seattle? In 1967 Sterling had 39 theaters in Washington, Oregon and Califorinia. Under Sterling the drive-in is listed as being in Bellevue!
Is the Cinema Six Cinemas the same as Cinema 6/Plitt 6? It was located at 3395 South 31st Street. Owned by Texas Cinema Corporation 1980, Cineplex Odeon, Cinemark Theaters 11/23/99-1/27/02, closed 1/27/02?
Chuck1231, not much info on CT I would stake my life on, except for Michael Coate! Some folks really throw some garbage on when they add a theater, they are not very careful at all. Even stuff found in Boxoffice, Ads etc. sometimes has mistakes in it. What can you expect when sometimes you go back 100 years.
As for me, I try to straighten things out and add stuff I find all over. Most of the time I add a question mark at the end cause I’m not sure, but I guess it’s better to post than not to. Sometimes it gets other people to comment. If nothing else it gives a general idea and is beter than nothing, which is what my wife says about me!
David, look at the map, see if the red dot is the spot the drive-in was at?? I only ask because I see Sam’s is at 5301! The only address I could find was when it opened which was West Highway 80 and later Highway 8 ???

Mike, are you sure it’s spelled AZALIA, I’ve also seen the drive-in spelled
AZELEA
AZELIA
If it’s named after the flowering shrub and it’s flowers it’s
AZALEA?
Open from 1955-1964? I know it was not open in 1967.
