History:
This opened as the Morton Opera House in December 1900 and renamed Garrick in 1912. On July 12th, 1928 the Garrick theatre burns down. It was rebuilt and reopened on February 28th, 1930 as the Capitol theatre, which closed on November 20th, 1974. It was at the NE Corner of Union & Cardwell.
The opening dates are September 2nd, 1907 for Poli’s, October 6th, 1930 for the Ritz and September 16th, 1937 for the Comerford. Grand opening ads posted.
