Ha, I’ll say. When I first added this theatre, I could find no other Rialto listed in Knoxville on Cinema Treasures.
Since my 1928 photo and the photo in the Knoxville historical link in the first comment are the same building, I’d say both are the Market Place location. The marquee was obviously moved, but the film “Two Outlaws” in my pic was released 11/18/28 according to IMDB. So the one on Gay street moved to Market Place a year after it opened.
I added a wider version of the 1948 photo that was previously posted as a BrooklynPix.com photo in 2007.
It shows a little bit more of the marquee on the left.
It was found on the AmeriCar The Beautiful Facebook page.
Not sure how it precedes the BrooklynPix.com watermark, since it is a larger image.
I can only assume it was the correct size before they claimed it.
A wider version photo clearly existed before their watermark was added to a narrower version.
An obscure 1934 artist depiction added featuring each of the downtown Knoxville movie theatres!

Jackpot!

I’ll add it to the Photos Section too.
I just noticed it’s the same film on the marquee in both pics. Mine just has people and cars.

Poteau History confirms it stood where Dewey Plaza is today. But they have the block number wrong as 200. 164 is correct. Copy & paste to view.
