The Breeze variety store is at 1420. It must have been a narrow theater.

I saw Abel Gance’s “Napoleon” at the Ritz Three. I believe it had a new soundtrack by Carmine Coppola. Very long silent film, but interesting.

The Classic was no longer listed in the IMPA as of 1967, so it must have closed sometime in the previous four years, as it was listed in the 1963 edition.

The Clay was around as early as 1940, based on this line from the Celina Bugle at that time:

Showing at Clay Theatre Sunday and Monday — Mickey ROONEY in “YOUNG TOM EDISON”.

I guess you could consider the movies at Blockbuster being second run, but the function should be retail.

The freeway is still under construction. Status should be changed to closed/demolished.

The building in the middle of the Google photo is Tee’s Barber Shop, 120 N. Greenwood. I don’t know if this is the original theater building.

There is a business called Harris Welding at 103 W. Main in Colfax. Unfortunately the photo over on the other site is so small that I can’t make out the signage. Any locals that can weigh on this would be helpful, so the address can be update.

I think it should be “theatre”, as that has been the consensus for the Canadian houses. Here is another view of the Capitol:
