I agree with that. I suppose the marquee for Arclight a while ago was supposed to direct us down the street to the other venue. The current marquee for this theater doesn’t mention Arclight.
I drove down Mission Street last month when I went to the 49ers-Eagles game. I didn’t realize that all the theaters on this street were so close together. Must have been spectacular in its time.

I drove past the site yesterday. The building just sits there, waiting for something to happen.
It looks like it was pretty small. 299 seats would be about right.
Status on this one should be changed to closed/demolished, per the two posts above.

I drove past this shopping center many times, but never saw it as a drive-in.
There is some information about the bar on the internet as it is considered somewhat of a historic site in Detroit.

If you look at the building at 845, and then pan across the street, that would be 840. Doesn’t look like the 1982 building at all.

Pleasantville would be correct, or Cardiff possibly. My brother lives close to the old site, and his address is in Cardiff.
