The New Temple Theatre was located on Market Street just East of North 4th Street. It was opened as the Temple Theatre in 1892. By 1914 it was screening movies. It had closed by 1926.

A Wurlitzer organ, opus 1012, was installed in the Temple Theater on 3/11/1925.
