His Majesty’s Theatre(Aberdeen, Scotland) is only one of two of His Majesty’s Theatre’s surviving in the World, the other His Majesty’s Theatre is in Perth, Western Australia, Australia, opened on 24/11/1904. His Majesty’s Theatre(Perth) is also listed on Cinema Treasures.
The Tavern, with a bottlemart store on the front(on the old Medina Theatre site) is east of the intersection of Harley way, Medina, next to Medina Hall and Kwinana War Memorial.
There is a street named after the Eastway Drive-in at the Lakeway estate(named after the Lakeway Drive-in. later called Family Films WA, and then Oceanview Drive-in).
After the Council(Town of Mosman Park) moved out in 1965 or 1966, it was used for the Mosman Park Reception Centre(also called Camelot Lodge) until it closed in(80’s or early 90’s?).
The Esplande Picture Gardens were replaced with the Temple Court and Embassy Ballroom opening in December 1928, and closed on 26/11/1982 at 1.30am with an Elvis Presley medley, and demolished in December 1982. The site is now Wesfarmers Headquarters. There is a picture of the Esplande Picture Gardens in the book “Stage, screen and stars(page 38).
No idea where the name came from? I presume the cinema may have been in an adult store, but is now a restaurant, no idea if it is the building converted or if the cinema(and adult store?) was demolished and rebuilt?

Ace Cinemas Subiaco is on the Corner of Hay Street and Alvan Street, Subiaco.
One of the Screens is at the Nearby Digger daws oval(at the Northern end) used as a(scoreboard?).
The Embassy Ballroom was on the top floor of Temple Court.
The Caltex service station on that site changed name to Puma early in 2015.
The outdoor cinema may have also been called sunset cinema.
Correction – The Savoy Gardens may have been on Albany Highway(eastern side), North of the Savoy Theatre.
The Alexander Library opened on 18/6/1985.
I think the flats and pool/snooker hall might have been where the shops are at the Eighth Avenue side of the building.
Flight Deck Adult Cinema was on the North-west corner of James Street and Lake Street.
The Caves House outdoor Cinema opened in late December 1998.(article in Busselton-Margaret Times newspaper – 31?12?1998, page 9).
The BP service station on the site is now a Shell service station.

Skyline Drive-in is in the Perth suburb of Floreat.
There may still be a poster from the Olympia Gardens on the wall of His Majesty’s Theatre(Barre cafe?).
The Astor Open Air Gardens site is now Astor Arcade to the right of the Astor Theatre(Beaufort Street side).
The building the Sun Picture Gardens is in used to be a general store built and opened in(1909?).
