Thanks again Chuck1231.I do even have my own pictures of the Theatres that I used to work in. Keep them coming.I have not been on C.T. too long but it is how I spend a lot of my spare time.Great site.
Hey Mike ours were clip-ons,but large type butterflys as someone called them.WE looked cool though.I do not know about you but when I got in Management we had to wear our own suits and neckties. No golf shirts and slacks like the modern managers.
The Texas Theatre should never be known as “Oswalds Theatre” he never owned or leased it.Lee Harvey “maybe” killed our President he should not be honored for it if he did of did not!He was arrested there, that all.
Another thing why do they call it “Oswalds Theatre” he never owned or leased this place.Only in the U.S.A can you get famous for killing someone. No matter who it is.Maybe they should call it O.J.’s.Texas Theatre.
Larry goldsmith, I remember those days or nights I should say when we had people lining up Church street. We would go out in our uniforms and asked if they had tickets , if they did not not we would show them to the line at the box office.Red Jacket, Black Bow Tie and black pants. Those were the days.LOEWS CRESCENT NASHVILLE,TENNESSEE
How about any theatre anywhere? Did you come to see a movie or talk on the phone? You can do that at home.
By the way thanks Lost Memory lots of great shots also!!!!

Very Sad indeed! I friend of mine who lives in Nashville now said Gary Indiania was like a war zone.
Another great old picture Chuck1231, how do you come up with them?
I wonder how many walk ins they could hold?

Should have gone to Subway across the street.
Nice picture of the marquee.
Still looks like a theatre.
One of the few Loews that does not have a vertical sign.Only a small arrow sign saying Loews Ritz hanging under the marquee as seen the the pictures.
Thanks Don S.You must have had this problem too.
Oh by the way the name “Million Dollar Theatre” is great.
Cool keep it going. The you tube stuff does not work too well.

Same old story.
What is the Queen rated?
Woody Allen loved this theatre as most people know. He had most of his Premiers there!
No Balcony, I can see from Jack Theakston’s post and pictures that there were stairs already in the back.Good idea!Add on when we get the money.
