By the way I am a former LOEWS employee from Nashville,Tennessee,I when on C.T. to look up other LOEWS and got hooked on looking up others, theatres that is.
Yes I know,I was not complaining,I am on C.T. most everday, love it.Just some people like to battle it out over a little thing known as A.K.A.Many of these theatres have had serveral names as I am sure that you know.
The only good thing about them being worn out is that people have been there to were them out.I saw another post the some one said that the was a beat up old Loews in almost every city.
I think there will always be a need for theatres,of course you can stay home and watch a movie or just T.V.,but that is why its called going out.The prices may seem high and they are but that has always been said. When I worked for LOEWS in the seventies and tickets when fron $2.50 to $3.00 at night people bitched but they still came. They is still nothing like watching a movie in a theatre, people you say different must not ever go to the theatres,or do not know the difference.Just my thoughts.

How could someone look up the Loews 175th. theatre by the name it is now if they do not know it? This site is about theatres right.

I was going to ask it this was ever a LOEWS house, but I saw it in another post.Pictures of marquee and vertical look like LOEWS style.
Cannot find the listing for Loews Shore/coney island.
