The last film screened in the Metro Theatre, “Gone with the wind” was sold out(full theatre).
I think the picture gardens might be at the bottom of the oval on the right hand side of the above photo, with tne fences around it!!?

The drive-in closed twice in the mid 1980’s to early 1990’s.
