I agree Mike we always had union projection people I do not remember any major problems in all my years.Only at the LOEWS MADISON we blew a Zeon?? bulb and had no replacement they had to give a small amount of refunds and or passes out that day.Of course the Melrose and Crescent still burned the carbon rods we never had that problem.
Can anybody go to the movies anymore to get away from everyday life and forget all this high -tech B.S.Yes I said it B.S.Most people today cannot even go to the bathroom without their cell phone or i-pod stuck in their ear or somewhere else.
Even if I know nothing about the theatre I read most of the posts and leave some small comment so it gets listed on my homepage thats all.Iook at your homepage and others to see what you have been looking up and click on them myself.By the way have you seen the GEICO commercial with Charlie Danels this was filmed in the lobby of the LOEWS JERSEY I believe.Looks like it and I read it on another theatres site.
Now that I think about it Mike I believe you are right Martin was based in Georgia may it was their Division office or city office the was at the Tennessee Theatre. Our city Managers office was at the LOEWS CRESCENT and other 2 called in their monies there ever night, then we would call Dallas Texas our Divsion H.Q. and then they would finally call New York with the figures, kind of a roundabout way to do it.
