There was a second image that included a dated description with the photo credit.

I found this recent batch of previously unlisted Toronto theatres on the Vintage Toronto Facebook page.
I then searched the name of each one with the words “Theatre Toronto Taylor History” to bring up those specific links.

The upside is that that proves the photo was from the Palace’s 1950 reopening after it’s renovation mentioned in the Overview.
