Midway Twin Cinema

The Midway Cinema opened by Associated Theatres on September 29, 1966 with Stephen Boyd in “Fantastic Voyage”. Located in the Midway Mall between Lorain and Elyria, Ohio. On May 14 1975 it was taken over by National Drive-In Theatres and was twinned and renamed the Midway Twin Cinema. It was taken over by the Armstrong Circuit in 1985. It was last operated by National Theatre Corporation who closed it late-1987. The space now houses retail stores.

The Midway Mall Cinema was opened by Associated Theatres on September 29, 1966 with “Fantastic Voyage”. In 1975, it was taken over by National Drive-In Theaters and was twinned on May 14 of that same year. The Armstrong Circuit took over in 1985 and the National Theatre Corporation was the last operator before closing it in late-1987.

Closed on June 21, 1987 with “The Untouchables” in Screen 1 and “The Believers” in Screen 2.
