This was an old vaudeville theatre that was then a movie house. It was listed in 1926 as the 250 seat Liberty Theatre. After closing it was converted into retail space. Today it is a Martial Arts school.

Its an Auto parts store. Has the original tin walls and ceiling.

last year there was a fire at this location in autoparts store- i worked there, about three years ago, and did admire the beuty of the old tinwork throughout, not to mention the feeling of the solid old wood floors, and stage area-jon

Wow, I never would have thought that building was a theater at one time. It doesn’t particularly look like one on the outside.
None of the links above work, anyone know of any historic photos of the Orpheum?

Very nice information on Percy Williams. Thank you.

According to most reports I’ve read about vaudeville and the performers, Percy was a charming, generous person. But you all know that from Williams 1) getting out of the Orpheum interests when it was starting to get ugly and monopolized and 2) founding an Aged Actors' Home. A good egg, all around.
