Very nice looking theatre,thanks for the photos.
I’m thinking the theater is managed by a non-profit that might be connected with the City of Muskogee – perhaps a call to City Hall might be the best place to start.
Who would a person contact about renting the Roxy Theatre?
From 2010 a photo of the Roxy Theatre Here and Here in Muskogee.
Chuck 1231, I can confirm that the Roxy is indeed a live venue. I attended a screening during the April 2009 Bare Bones Film Festival at the Roxy, and I sold a photo of the theater for use in promoting their summer 2010 live music lineup.
On this site are recent color photos of the Roxy Theatre.

Apparently Muskogee had two Roxy theatres, the one listed here and another named Roxy Independent. From Library of Congress Archives is John Vachon’s 1942 photograph of the Art Deco Style ROXY INDEPENDENT Theatre;

Library of Congress Photo Archives has a 1930’s WPA commissioned photo of the first ROXY Theatre, which was later replaced by the present one.
