The Majestic held a soft spot in Jackson as its interior demolition was covered by the local press. Here, the proscenium is shown but give F.W. Woolworth’s a lot of credit for carefully removing not just the moribund Robert Morton pipe organ console but all of its components - largely in the third balcony - to properly document and donate the instrument for its next owner - on their many dimes.
