Located on Main Street at 5th Street, the Grand Theatre was opened in 1916. On September 17, 1931 it reopened as the State Theatre following a remodel by architect E.A. Engebretson. On July 28, 1965 it was renamed Botno Theatre.
This small town theatre is still going strong. A curved roof over a two story front with four columns from the roof to the first floor level. The bottom part is covered in a stone of cream/yellow color.
A small box office in the middle of the entrance with a double set of doors on each side. Small Art Deco style lobby and auditorium that seats 312. The seating capacity was decreased to 190-seats in 2011.
