I lived near Oakland from mid to late 2001 to mid 2004 and I have seen some movies here but I canĀ“t name them.
This opened on December 15th, 1995. Grand opening ad posted.
I’ve posted information and photos from a recent visit here.
Nice photo Lost Memory.
Per posted maximum occupancy signs, seating capacities for the nine auditoriums are as follows:

Total seats: 1455
The Jack London Stadium Cinema was designed by the San Francisco architectural firm Uesugi & Associates, which did quite a bit of work for the Signature Theatres chain before it was swallowed by Regal.

I believe this is the theater:

Update—I went here last week and Signature theaters is now owned by Regal Entertainment Group. Theater looked well kept, although I went mid-weekday and there was maybe all of 10 patrons in the complex. (My friend and I sat in an otherwise empty theater.)
Not to be confused with the Jack London Square Cinemas on Broadway(now Xanadu), which is an adult moviehouse.
I think Signature theaters is the operator of this moviehouse.
